  • Josie

    CO-FOUNDER

Josie has been doing hair as far back as she can remember, starting as a teenager experimenting with bold colors and punk cuts, and officially getting behind the chair in a professional environment in the early aughts. Her favorite services are full, dramatic transformations. She loves to work collaboratively with her clients, and leave them with effortless, textured cuts. She particularly enjoys the classic combination of a fun razor cut, paired with color that truly punctuates the haircut seamlessly.

She is a second generation immigrant who grew up working in her dad’s auto body shop where she honed in on the grit and work ethic necessary to own a small business. Later on, she played in a political garage rock band for over six years and toured across the country, and beyond! When she’s not doing hair, she is usually kayaking, boating, or hanging out with her Italian greyhounds.

If you want to understand your hair, not just style it, and you live for lived in texture, intentional, attentive color, and a judgement free experience, she is the stylist for you! She loves to help clients find their truest personal style identity, without overstyling, and always recommending only what will genuinely work well for you, with your hair type, goals, and lifestyle.

  • Erin

    CO-FOUNDER

Erin has been doing hair for over 20 years. She loves to do haircuts, especially textured cuts, pixies, bixies, shags, and mullets. When she’s not behind the chair, you can find her on far flung travels, hiking, running, kayaking, or just anything that allows her to spend some quality time outdoors. She also loves karaoke and snuggling her Boston Terrier, Lola.

Anyone who is looking for a cut that expertly fits their personal aesthetic and personality, and wants a look with effortless style, would find themselves happily at home in Erin’s chair.

  • Natalia

Professionally, Natalia has been doing hair since 2005, but she’s been at it since her childhood days spent toying with Clorox and kool-aid. Her favorite service to do is blonding, there is nothing more satisfying and gratifying to her than making a client who has been told they cannot be blonde, blonde!

When she’s not doing hair, she has extended her sculpting and painting skills to making precious metal jewelry. She also enjoys blacksmithing, and occasionally ceramics. If you are looking to bring out your own authentic expression through your hair, whether you want a low-maintenance wash ‘n wear, or a complex color service, she’s game and wants to give you the hair that makes you feel like you!

  • Danielle

Danielle has been doing hair since 1994! She finds making people feel good to be the most satisfying part of the job. She enjoys creating shape, and dimension with color, and whatever is needed to leave her clients feeling like their absolute best.

Quoting the hit show Fleabag, she resonates with the following “It’s a unique connection you make with someone that’s in your chair, the hair is everything!” When she’s not in the salon, she loves to spend time making pickles or spending some quality time with her two kids. She also plans to learn to knit in 2026…socks for everyone!

If you’re looking for a stylist who understands your hair, and seeks to understand you, and reflect your personality through your hair, Danielle will be the perfect fit!

  • Rae

  • Amy

She loves to craft a cut that will represent you well, as well as give a lot of longevity. She prioritizes a haircut, and a service, that makes you feel seen and comfortable, and most like yourself. She enjoys styles that can grow into a whole other new cut and style to give you longevity and fluidity in your hair between cuts for an effortless, low maintenance style.

Something you may not know about Amy is that she was born and raised in England on British military bases before moving to the American midwest at the age of 15. If you’re looking for someone with an attentive eye, and the ability to capture your personal style and personality through your cut, you’ll be delighted after a cut with Amy.

  • Wryn

Wryn has been doing hair for about 13 years, getting her start in rural Pennsylvania, and really honing her craft working in Seattle where she worked for 6 years! She moved there not knowing much about it, or knowing anyone but her brother. From there, she continued her professional hair journey with a spell in New York City. Wryn loves razor cuts, balayaging, and giving you bangs (and infamously, rat tails!).

She is still enjoying settling into Philly and is enjoying going out to eat and drink at all the new to her spots, going thrifting and antiquing, hitting up museums, botanical gardens, and finding local shows. She’s also a huge Star Wars fan! She wants you to feel like you, and feel like your best self. Wryn is the perfect stylist for someone looking for effortless, easy hair, or someone looking for some fun fashion colors.

  • Laura

When it comes to hairstyling, Laura is inspired most by the fact that each haircut is a new opportunity to make someone feel AMAZING. Hair can make someone feel completely transformed. She truly loves making people feel like their most fierce selves!

When she’s not behind the chair, her number one favorite pastime is cuddling her 13 year old chiweenie, Ziggy. She also fabricates jewelry under the name ‘Hellhound Jewelry’ out of her home studio. She considers herself to be an introverted extrovert and loves spending the day with herself, but oftentimes by night you can find her collecting vintage clothing, or playing bass and singing in either of the two bands she is in!

  • Cassidy

Cassidy has been doing hair professionally for a little over a year, but has been doing her own hair and her friends’ hair for over a decade! She loves haircutting, particularly enjoying mullets, shags, and pixies which are all her favorites!

Not only does she serve up great hair, and looks, but she also serves drinks from time to time at Johnny Brenda’s! Cassidy enjoys the opportunity to do a broad variety of hair. She particularly leaps at the opportunity to do more funky, nontraditional haircuts that let her flex her creativity and cutting skills. She is here for the girls, gays, and theys. If you’re looking for a stylist to help you get a little weird with it, she’s your girl!

  • Sami

Sami has been doing hair now professionally for about two years, but has a long history of doing her friends’ and her own hair for years before that! She loves to explore all the different types of haircutting that come through her chair.

A fun fact about Sami is that she really resonates with the character Harry Potter, and that she was born during a blizzard. Sami’s most excited to book the girls, gays, and theys…and anyone who likes the book Demian by Herman Hesse.

  • Julz

Julz finds her hairstyling inspiration largely from revisiting different eras of fashion and music, particularly the 70s’, 80’s, and 90’s.

When she’s not behind the chair she enjoys attending lots of different shows, mainly her fiance’s bands, and then coming back home to the old funeral home that she lives in!
